A forgotten random conversation...

Some of you commented on the name thing. It reminded me of a conversation I had planned on blogging with the rest...

We had a nurse that was coming to work for us, but ended up not. She seemed extremely nice and enthusiastic. I love enthusiasm. I loved her smile. I loved her sense of humor. However, I had a hard time with her name.

It was Tijuana.

Yep. Tijuana.

Seriously. Pronounced just like Tijuana, Mexico. What were her parents thinking?

I would never name a child something that might turn out prophetic.

Might as well name your child Hooligan!

Now, I'm back to filling out online job applications....

I'm tellin' ya. I gotta get back to 12 hour shifts! These 8 hour days are KILLING me! How do people stand to go to work every day?

There's a YouTube video of some guys rapping girls' names that my children showed me. Wish I could find it for you.

I hope you find a job with hours you love.

When my best friend had her baby a few months ago, I was in the room visiting when the nurse came in to get the info for the birth certificate. Somehow we got to talking about names and she said that the day before a woman had given birth to a little girl and named her Princess. Thought that was strange on many different levels. Good luck with your job search!

I know of two little boys named Rowdy. And one named Race. And I knew of a boy named Chase who ran away all the time.
