You Will Not BELIEVE What We Found Last Night!

We had a fantabulous weekend over Memorial Day.

It was a weekend full of shenanigans and folderol and probably poor dressing on my part.

I will tell you all about it.

Someday.

But, today is not that day.

Today I will tell you that I was very tired last night.
How tired was I, you ask?

Well, I'm glad you care.

I was so tired that I sat down to watch "Wipe Out" with the fam at the late hour of 7pm and fell asleep before it even began.

And I slept until 2:30 on the couch, woke up for about an hour, went back to sleep, and didn't get up until 7am!

Now that's tired folks!

I will also tell you about some excitement we had Saturday morning. I was dozing at my in-laws, considering climbing out of bed, when I heard a truck drive by.

In a panic, I leaped out of bed and ran outside to see if my beloved Kelsey had chased said truck, and ended her life after finally recovering from her

Turns out she and Holly were sitting on the front porch like good little puppies...

If one considers good little puppies two puppies who've been in a sticky situation the night before.

Kelsey, in her older and wiser wisdom-ey-ness let me pull the quills out with no protest. She practically shoved her nose in my face to remove them.

Holly decided to leave her quills in.

We pinned her down, with both of us laying on her, and she would get away, and run in a circle, then come right back to be scratched.

She ate and drank.

She chased birds.

I deemed her well enough for now, and left her to my in-laws to deal with.

Isn't it convenient that the very weekend we gave her to them to keep forever and ever on the farm where she can run free and be happy she discovered porcupines?

I think so too.
